For our 2023 Mission Trip, our Youth Group served alongside our Adult Mission Group at the Morgan Scott Project in Deer Lodge, Tennessee. This organization helps meet the needs of many disadvantaged individuals and families in rural Tennessee.
While in Tennessee, we were able to help build wheelchair ramps, paint buildings at a local softball field, serve at a local school, and make memories that will last a lifetime. The youth of the Richfield United Church of Christ can say they have made a difference in people's lives. See our video for our trip by clicking the button below.
Richfield UCC Youth Group is a place where youth in grades 6-12 get together and have fun, learn about God, learn about themselves, and serve both God and their community.
Our upcoming meetings, events and service projects can be found on our church calendar. If you are interested in learning more about the RUCC Youth Group, please contact Scott Luther at YouthDirectorRUCC@gmail.com.
The Youth Group is involved in many different outreach programs at both a local and wider level. They have volunteered at the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank and Feed My Sheep on a regular basis. The Youth also participates in projects at our Retirement Village and in the church itself. Each summer, the RUCC Youth participate in a mission trip to help others in need and grow closer spiritually.
