We welcome Scott Luther as our new Youth Group Director.

I am very happy to introduce our new youth leader, Scott Luther. Scott works at CVS Caremark as a senior manager in Network Operations. He serves on Church Council and is chairing the Stewardship and Administration Board. He has served on the Hobbits Board and the Retirement Village Board.

Scott grew up in our church; he has been attending for 44 years! Becky Monegan remembers Scott as a gregarious, humble, congenial boy in her Sunday School class.

He is married to beautiful, talented Rachel and together they have two great sons, Nolan and Wade.

Scott will be an outstanding youth leader. He is passionate, energetic, empathetic and an intentional listener. He has had seven mission trip adventures and was a member of RUCC Youth Group for six years.

Scott shared that he has countless fond memories of growing up in the RUCC and being in the Youth Group. Scott developed strong relationships with adults in the Youth Group who continuously exemplified a Christian lifestyle. The RUCC Youth Group is blessed to have Scott as their new  leader. I’m certain they will all grow in Christian love together. I’m asking for your continued support and prayers for our Youth Group. Thank you, Scott, for serving in this vital role in our church.
