RUCC Offers Free Lunch Outreach     Now Through November 19.

Richfield— A positive and thankful response from the community has convinced Richfield United Church of Christ to extend its current free lunch program through             November 19.
Brown bag lunches will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis each Thursday at the Richfield United Church of Christ (RUCC). Pickup times are from 11:30 to 12:30. Lunch offerings will vary from week to week.

Due to Hobbitts Daycare being back in session the beginning of September, church members will be passing out lunches on the exit drive (left side of the church) next to the mail box.   Participants will be asked to wear face masks and stay in their vehicle while the lunch bags are placed in their car trunk or back seat.

“In this time of Covid with the isolation, fears, loss of jobs and social contact, we at RUCC wanted to offer a lunch to anyone with a need, be that need financial, emotional, or spiritual. We at RUCC care and welcome all,” said Jean Krankowski, chair of the Worship and Parish Ministry committee.

Richfield United Church of Christ is located at 4340 West Streetsboro Rd in Richfield. For more information about the free lunch outreach please call the church at 330-659-3532 or visit our web site at www.richfielducc.com.

Welcome Message

Open and Affirming Covenant
Our faith community welcomes persons of all
ages, races, nationalities ethnicities, sexual orientations, gender identities,
mental and physical abilities, family structures, socioeconomic levels
and political and theological backgrounds.

All people are encouraged to participate and share their talents and energy in worship, sacraments, leadership positions, ministry, service and fellowship.

We encourage peaceful and respectful expression coming from
our varied cultures and backgrounds.
We strive to create a sanctuary
where people of diversity are honored and welcomed.

We don't have the answer to every question,
but we will share in the search for meaning and purpose.

Our doors and our hearts are open to you as we affirm all
who follow Christ’s commandment “love one another as I have loved you.”

If you have been rejected by other churches, by society,
or by a family of faith elsewhere, join us and see the difference.
